I have not been able to post here since last Thursday, but it looks like I've found the problem. LJ is only accepting data in small chunks from some of us. I tried opening a new account and got stopped when I tried to load an icon. Now I'm posting in privacy mode, so I can narrow it down. So if you are having the same problem (You can read your friend's list and reply, but can't post) try posting just a few sentences. 1700 bites sent (not written!) seems to be the limit. It isn't a lot of fun. But it's better than nothing.
