All Hallow's Eve.
I must be officially old.
I didn't have many guests last night. Not many giving out candy on my little street and the folks across the way were really making a lot of noise building something at the last minute for a party somewhere else, I suppose. I think that helped scare the little kids away.
Usually after the Trick-or-Treaters I start eating up the extra candy and gain weight I can't get rid of for the rest of the winter. Last night I ate a piece or two and said to myself, "This stuff is disgusting," and meant it. I actually put it all away. Not like it's second rate candy; Mars candy bars, Reese's PB cups and such. I suppose I can send it to my great-nieces and nephews as part of Christmas.
