For those facing more winter cold here's a shot from the warm southwest
It's always a little disappointing photographing the bush. It's pretty well covered with yellow blooms now. But the camera doesn't really react well to the bright sun and the yellowy green of the bush itself. So you can really only see the blooms well on the shadier side here and not in the shadiest parts well at all.

The larger cactus plants plants in the garden are getting to be a nice size. The smallest ones I planted years ago are beginning to die off from old age, so I need to do some replacing. The funny shaped, light spot on the ground towards the lower right is the reflection of the sun off my master bathroom window.

You can probably see my fingers. It's now breezy and I had to hold the branch.
