I'm having frequent troubles with my Internet computer. I hope I can make it last for a few more months

I'm in vacation mode for fiction writing so no updates for a few days at least.

I think it's a problem with my anti-virus software. My computer is getting old and I can't keep the operating system updated because of a problem in firmware of this specific model. I think the anti-virus is expecting it to be up-to-date within a few years, but it isn't. I was planning on replacing the computer as soon as the new MS operating system comes out next yeat anyway. I just want to get it to limp along for a few more months!

I'll be here, I'm just in a self imposed no-write-fiction mode till at least Friday.
