No joy

I got up early this morning in hopes of seeing the comet/s. Unfortunately with an almost full moon, the seeing conditions from my house were awful. On a moonless night they aren't too bad here. But the combination of the particular kind of air pollution we have here (mostly dust) and the bright moon makes the seeing worse on nights like this here in Phoenix than it was back in the midwest where light polltuion from the ground was a bigger problem.

Yes, the Mars panorama has spread my friends page into the next county this morning. ;o)
