Well, that was educational.

I bought some chips and a small bottle of salsa for a good unhealthy lunch today. I discovered when I got home the salsa had been opened already, so that went straight to the trash (inner seal was open, no way to prove it was that way in the store). So I thought chips and no dip wasn't what I wanted. I remembered I had some honey in the cabinet. I mixed some tumeric mustard in a glob of honey and some other stuff for seasoning. It didn't want to stay mixed as is, but a brief time in the microwave later... Honey mustard sauce. I think I'll use less honey next time, but otherwise it was quite good.

Sounds good! Might also be good on veggies if you're ever tempted in that direction.

Yes it would be.

I've made an improvised satay-ish sauce for pasta a couple of times, thinning out the peanut butter w/the boiling water drained from the pasta & adding hot sauce (can't remember if I ever used hot mustard; turmeric might be a good addition too!) & something else I can't think of now. Maybe curry? Turned out pretty well in any case.
