Better late than never... I guess

I just got a Christmas card from the lady who showed me my house before I bought it. Now granted I don't care if I get a card from her or not, and she has little interest in me except that I might contact her if I wanted to sell. I don't mind her sending me her business card once in a while. But why send a Christmas card on Valentine's day? Yep, that's the date on the postmark.

Well, I have a stack of Christmas letters on my counter that I have yet to send. It is getting embarrassing now, so I haven't sent them. Maybe I will wait until July. I owe a few people some promised cookies too. She was probably so embarrassed by the lateness, that the impending Valentines day sent her straight to the post office.

Yet here I am responding to lj. It is all priorities I am afraid ;-)

Yes, but with you, those are people who'd appreciate hearing from you. My mother was a prize winner at sending out her Christmas cards months late. But, with business contacts why bother?
