Are you sure it wasn't Sirius' idea?

And have to say he looks regal, menacing, and very cute up there! I had a cat who used to do that, but she was a bright calico, which took away from the lurking-panther effect. Sirius does it right!

One of the local shelters was giving away a free black kitten to anyone adopting another kitten of any color, a kitten and a shadow as they called it. They said it was Black Cat Day and to my surprise the Internet agreed.

He's more likely to get up on the fridge in the winter, when it's warmer higher up. These hot days summer days he curls up in the spare bathroom sink under the a/c vent and doesn't look very menacing at all.

Yes, it's hard to look aloof and mysterious when curled up in the sink...but he's a fine cat, wherever he is!
