Animal signs
This morning I saw an earthworm on the sidewalk for only the second time in all these years I've been in Phoenix. Translation: we've had more than enough rain lately.
Also this morning, Sirius, the cat, meowed at me to get me to follow him. He does it to get food, get a toy, to get through a closed door, sometimes just to get me to pet him far away from whatever I might be concentrating on. This morning he led me to the spot where he'd thrown up a hair ball. I don't know if that was actually his intention or a coincidence, but he didn't disturb me as I cleaned it up.
