More series and season premieres

Everybody Hates Chris - much better than any of the other new comedies I've seen.

Love, Inc. - I only watched it due to being too lazy to change the channel or turn the set off. But, it was good. I have a natural inbred dislike of the star, Busy Phillips, so it must be pretty good, indeed.

Criminal Mind - The ick factor is just too high. It's well done, but I have no desire to watch more analysis of mass murderers and the like.

Oh, hell. I meant to check out Everybody Hates Chris, but I got home late & missed it. I seem to be doing that a lot this week.

Completely agree about Criminal Minds. Ick. I never had a high tolerance for the presentation of women as helpless victims, & I'm sure it's only gotten lower since there've been alternatives like Buffy. I tuned out as soon as I saw the HV on this show. Actually, the same thing happened when I got caught up in SVU the other day. I hadn't watched it before, didn't plan to, but I got pulled in by the story of a cop undercover as a sex offender on parole, in "group" (therapy) w/a suspect who may or may not be turning his life around. Then they got to the HV, &...no. Icky & exploitative. Tired of it.

I don't do 1/2 hour sitcoms, but Criminal Minds bored me to tears. And I was looking forward to it, too!

Everybody Hates Chris didn't click with me. I expected to like it but ended up switching channels.

I did watch Love, Inc., only because Busy is best friend and former roommate of my boss's daughter (CW, did you know Busy is from Scottsdale? She also used to date Tom Hanks son.) I was pleasantly surprised. It had received pretty horrible reviews but I didn't think it was that bad. I think it has potential, and because it doesn't have the big name cast like Miss Match (Alicia Silverstone and Ryan O'Neal) and is on UPN instead of the bigger networks, the pressure isn't quite as strong so maybe it'll be around for awhile. They just finished shooting the fifth episode and have toned down the characters quite a bit, so it should be getting better. And UPN moved it after Everybody Hates Chris (it was originally supposed to follow Eve) to give it the strong lead-in, which indicates they have some faith in the show. I've been guaranteed a seat if I ever want to sit in on a taping. ;-)

Didn't even check out Criminal Mind - don't know anything about it.

I think Love, Inc. got a bad rap from what happened to Miss Match. Every time I saw anything about it beforehand, that's what they were talking about. I already said, I really wasn't interested. I just happened to watch it. If people who enjoy EHC stay tuned like I did, it might do OK.

I did hear that Busy Phillips is from Scottdale.

What do you think of "Chase Field." I think it's what most were expecting.

I still prefer BOB, but Chase Field is better than some of the others I heard bounced around. I'm going to the game tomorrow and I'm wearing my BOB cap. ;-)
