"Spineless" is not an insult if you are a cactus. This one's flowers are typical of many yellow cactus flowers except for the red throat.

They're really beautiful! I like the spineless cactus especially; it looks kind of like a sea urchin in an extravagant hat!

These are stunning. I had no idea that cacti could produce such a wealth of flowers, of such size and colour as these. Thanks for posting the photos!
