Blooms of the day

A couple of South American cacti and one local

First, a small one with delicate flowers.

Echinopsis Cinnabarina

Next, a much larger plant growing near by. This one like many Echinopsis blooms at night. I think I posted a picture of this one last year. But that picture was taken later into the day and the blooms were already starting to wilt.

Echinopsis ferox

Finally, this plant grows natively in Arizona. They are quite ugly even for ugly cacti. But, the flowers make up for it.

Gorgeous, all of them. The first one looks like it's resting in a basket of green eggs.
