Cam was not nearly as annoying as she has been. However, this developing "I'm cheating on Brennan with her boss" crap is really annoying. True, Bones has the sensitivity of a billy goat about other people's feelings. But I think a decent show ought to be based on something besides who is sleeping with whom. If Cam was brought in solely to make Brennan and Booth have a crashing break up , I am very disappointed.

I am more happy with Jack Hodgins. The guy was severely creepy last year. Now he seems to have some real humanity. The horrible thing about the date last night and Angela's reaction was, of course, that it presages Doomsday with Booth and Brennan, and what's going to happen with the work environment. I hope it's not so stupid I want to quit watching.

I'm sorry, I just can't write fiction without editing. My stories get complicated quickly and I can't keep track unless I can go back and fix everything that's contradictory as I go along. Most of you know how much trouble I have with editing typos. So constantly rereading is a way to get rid of many of them. I still have trouble with words I think I've typed but aren't there. It's fairly minor as hallucinations go, but believe me it is disturbing.

I feel the same way. Probably part of the reason I only did 1001 words yesterday is I couldn't move on to what was next until I got the scenes I worked on at least in a form where they agreed with the larger narrative. That doesn't mean they still don't need a lot of work, but I actually *can't* move on until a scene is at least without glaring contradictions. If I *didn't* go back and fix it, my word count for the next day would be zero.

I also feel no qualms about going back later and fixing something from a previous day if needed.

One of the things I did yesterday was write an opening for the book. It's much better with the original in a few pages!

Yeah, but I'm retired. So it's a lot easier for me to get a high word count! Good luck with your stories!
