Happy birthday

Skål!!
It rained all last night, which wouldn't be odd unless you lived in the desert. We went a record 140+ days without rain this fall and winter in Phoenix and had very little precip in the mountains to the north and east. Very bad for the forests in the mountains, very bad for wild life everywhere. I don't remember when it rained last at my house, though I got one of those dry sprinkles not too long ago. In those, the air is so dry you can stand out in the sprinkles and not get wet or even chilled, the water evaporates so fat. Chances are the last time it rained over at the airport, the official Phoenix site, wasn't the same day it last rained here. This storm is big enough all of the area should get a share. The snow level supposedly will be down to 3000' which means if we get a short break in the rain, I might get to see snow on the low mountains out my window, a rare, but very pretty sight.
