I don't know how many of you are interested in computer RPGs, but a great one is supposed to be released this coming week, Oblivion by Bethesda Software (rated teen). Not one of those rip-off things that expects you to pay first for the game then pay again to sign up on the Internet to actually play, it's the old fashioned kind where it's all in front of you. Bethsoft RPGs are huge and you can play them much as you please. You can be a shining, heroic paladin or a low-down, rotten backstabber and the games still play true and deliver a lot of fun. You can follow the set story line or you can ignore it completely, finding adventures where you will. I don't normally spam this much, but I think this game will be well worth it.
Monkey update: Spock and Monster managed to pick 22 of the first 32 games correctly and are tied with two of the local sports writers for second (or last place if you prefer) in their NCAA tournament bracket contest. ( For reference the folks who set up the tournament got 23 of 32 right with their pairings.)
Yesterday's results
Best Picks: Northwestern St vs Iowa, Bradley vs Kansas
Worst Pick: Kent St. over Pitt
Near Miss Michigan St over George Mason
