On the check from a business that I took to the bank yesterday, the amount was proceeded by the word 'Exactly.' Now most everyone one assumes that's how the bank will interpret the amount you put on the check, but it's nice to feel secure I suppose. I prefer 'exactly' in that context over 'vaguely' or 'approximately.' But I would certainly accept a check which read 'greater than or equal to.'
