Ripped from the web.
Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens. The chief astronomer says those beliefs don't contradict faith in God
This reminds me of when I was in high school. My Greek Orthodox girlfriend was reading in the newspaper that the Vatican had reached out to make peace with the Patriarch of Constantinople after more than a millennium of vilifying the branch of Christianity she belonged to. Her comment was a bitterly sarcastic, "Oh, yippee. Now I can like the Pope." I'm sure extraterrestrials across the universe are equally thrilled with the improvement in relations between them and the Roman Catholic Church.
The weather was first windy and chilly then pleasantly cool yesterday. It even sprinkled in the afternoon at my house, one of the of those Arizona sprinkles where you can stand out in it as long as it lasts and not get the least bit damp. Not quite virga, but almost! Never fear
superplin, by the time you get here it will be above 100 degrees. Wouldn't want to disappoint you!
