Second Round,
Second Verse.
Second Verse,
Same as the first.
My local CBS station lost their feed to their mountain top antenna. No HD at all yesterday, and an analogy signal so weak, my TV kept deciding the station had signed off for the day, and shut itself off to save power. Thankfully Internet coverage is remarkable these days. It's much easier to follow all the the games at once with text alerts than it is while watching the actual games with a scoreboard in the corner of the screen. I did get to see the end of the Mizzou game (on the fuzzy analogy with no sound). I have to feel a bit sorry for Marquette. With about 4 minutes to play they had the lead and it seemed like Mizzou was falling apart. Then the roof fell in on Marquette. With 19 seconds to go and the score tied, the shot clock expires on them. Then with 5.5 seconds left, two points down and still with a genuine chance to tie or win, their guard steps in bounds before he throws the ball in, and it's all over. The guy probably hasn't done that since grade school.
Anyway thanks to more luck, I got the same result as Saturday, 7 correct with the one miss on Wake Forest which didn't make it past Friday. Not a great year for Cinderellas, the top three seeds in all regions are 24-0. But I picked most of them the same way and it makes my record currently 35-14.
