Bowl-game-at-Yankee-Stadium-starting-in-'10
Doesn't anyone remember how poorly the Liberty Bowl went over in Philly or remember the late unlammented Garden State Bowl, which no one wanted to watch? Yes, the old Yankee stadium had top notch college football games in the distant past. Army-Notre Dame was big there back in the days when, um, the 'dear old Army team' hadn't been lousy for 30 years running.
I'm sure the teams will happily take the money. Army-Notre Dame will probably make the stadium money, even if it will likely be an awful game. But, I just can't imagine what the promoters of the Bowl game are thinking.
