It was 114 F today, here. I got an invitation to go to the zoo on Saturday. That would be a forceful *No, Thank You.*
On keeping cool - I went to a restaurant today and my waitress dropped a full glass of diet soda into the booth next to mine. I don't think she actually dumped it into the woman's lap, but the manager did come out to make profuse appologies and help clean it up.
On waitress fashion - Re the same waitress: gold belts do look good slung low on black uniforms, but it's better to wear it higher to emphasize the waist rather than lower and emphasize the butt.
Not the same restaurant, but a T-shirt seen recently on a waitress read "Vegetarians are welcome... To change their ways." It was that kind of restaurant.
