Browsing the web yesterday, I saw that The Insight Bowl football game is hopeful they will set an attendance record this year with the game matching the Universities of Iowa and Missouri. I saw that in an article on a St. Louis newspaper website that quoted the stadium capacity at 56,000 with the attendance record at under 50,000. The fact is the game has moved. The 56,000 is for last year's stadium (Chase Field). This year's place (Sun Devil Stadium) has over 70,000 seats. Even if they set an attendance record, the stadium will likely look very empty on TV!
For those of you enjoying the cool weather in Canada and the US east of the rockies, here in Phoenix we have record high temperature predicted for Sunday and Monday. When I lived in the Midwest I called warm days after wintry weather set in 'pneumonia weather.' Here, it's just going to be a couple days when more folks will wear shorts.
