I live in the suburbs. But it's a lot more like living in a city, than where I used to live. Where I used to live there were about four Oriental restaurants within about 25 sq. miles. Here there are five at one major intersection with several others sprinkled within a mile and a half. The population of the area is almost entirely Hispanic and Anglo.
Because there were plenty already that I liked, I hadn't tried the newest Oriental restaurant. I did today. It was just fine (there are at least two really bad ones within that mile and a half circle, one of them on that busy corner). I like to help the local businesses. But with so many good choices, it's difficult to choose which one(s) to help by giving my business.
