Today I got up, started the laundry, turned on the computer, went out to get the paper out of the yard and checked LJ. Then I switched the first batch of clothes to the drier and started the second load. Then I went out and watered the leafy things in the yard that have no drippers (the cactus didn't need it, and most won't take on water on extremely hot days like today). Then I hung up and folded the first batch of clothes out of the drier and put the other load into the drier. Then I went to the library (AKA my front room) and worked for about forty minutes till the second batch of clothes needed to be removed. After the laundry was finished I turned on the computer for another moment to check LJ. After that I worked in the library till lunch (simple tuna salad). In the afternoon I shot ugly guys (best description I can think of) with arrows on XBOX. At least the lady avatar is nice to look at. Yes, she's too big on top and while her hips are broad enough, as usual, they are far too short for a real woman. But she's pretty and nicer to look at for me than the muscle bound guy you can also play. Definitely YMMV. I shut that off to clean the cat's poop-atorium. I read some of a current biography, which I've been plowing through slowly. Then I played solitaire on the library computer for a few minutes, till the cat let me know it was time to feed him. After that I went out to get the mail which is later on Mondays than every other day. The communal mailboxes are down the street and around the corner to help the Post Office save money. Today was the worst day of the year so far for walking to the mailbox. It was over 113 degrees and the wind made it feel worse. The mail included a magazine which I read part of. Then I watched a Jeopardy rerun, the local news and then the national news. I ate a dinner of leftovers during the local news. After that I put out the recycling. I only do that every other week in a personal attept to save the city money since I figure it costs the city money every time the truck stops up and down the street. I put out garbage every week, but recycling only every second week. I played with the cat a little. Then shot some more uglies and sat down to write this.
A much more exciting day than yesterday.
