Sleepy Hollow

After a few so-so episodes, Sleepy Hollow's season ended with a bang last night. That's right. The season is over after 13 episodes. No more till next fall. I'm not at all sure why they wanted to hurry the end by showing the last two episodes on one night. Competition from the Olympics wouldn't be a problem for a few weeks. Why only 13 episodes? Maybe they are having second thoughts about renewing it. Maybe the actors committed too quickly to doing other things late last year to make any more till next season. I still watch it more for it's being over the top than for it's actual quality. Tom Mison does a great job with Crane, a role that seems would be difficult to be anything, but ridiculous in. I like Lyndie Greenwood as Jenny. Most of the rest including Nichole Beharie as Abbie don't impress me very much. John Noble, for instance, has a juicy part as Henry, but he's done this sort of thing before on Fringe and I couldn't get into that show at all.
