Yes, it snows in Arizona. Not in Phoenix proper, but up in the mountains surrounding the city. The city had over an inch of rain Thursday and more Friday. It cleared off this morning. The rain washed all the air pollution haze away. Mountains we rarely see are brilliantly outlined today. Even the lower closer mountains have snow below 4000 feet. Flagstaff on the way to the Grand Canyon got 30 inches of snow, which is more than I've ever experienced or want to.

It's been wet and chilly here a lot this month. My cat has learned how to get himself under the bed covers. That's where he been spending mornings lately. Sigh, he used to just pull down the comforter and snooze on the pillows in the guest room, leaving black fuzz all over the pillow cases. I guess I'll never be able to keep a nice set of sheets on that bed.
