Week 18

Odd things seem to be in short supply again. I needed trash bags. There were no generic, only more expensive brand name brands scented with perfumes I don't need.

I skipped buying cookies and chips this week. My weight crept upward, and I hope I can get by without them for a little bit. I still have popcorn, if I get desperate for some kind of treat.

I voted by mail in our state primary this weak. It barely mattered I think there were only one or two races that had a choice.

I'm hoping we get some more rain this week. It rained over the weekend, but not as much as I'd like. The fruit isn't ripe yet on the prickly pears, but the birds are already after them. I found a couple pads on the sidewalk yesterday. Very dry.
