I enjoyed Castle last night quite a bit. Maybe we've seen a slight shift in how Beckett feels. I don't think it would be wise for the show to move too far in that direction too fast.

I watched Chuck last night and thought it looks like a show that has lost its spark. Waiting for Castle I saw the last section of The Bachelor with the guy whining about one of the women messing around with somebody from the show staff. What a farce! Is there anyone who is gullible enough believe in the sincerity of any of them on that show?

My guitar came out of its case for the first time in awhile yesterday morning. I'm hope to work with it this winter. Practice today was tough sledding. I can play the mandolin pretty freely, but it hurts to play much on the big fret board.

I think the Castle people are too smart to let the main suspense end early. I look for more like last night, where there's competition--and also I think they like to shift from focus on the dead mother, focus on the daughter, focus on the relationship, focus on the live mother...keep all those balls in the arc-air while they do a good mystery each episode.
