Well, that sounds about right - Lisa Love, the athletic director of Arizona State said today that the University of Colorado will match well with the academics and athletics of the PAC-10 (for the moment its called that). This on a day when USC football was stripped of a national championship and 30 scholarships for lack of institution control of its athletic department and Colorado lost scholarships in both football and basketball for lack of academic progress among its athletes.
Meanwhile at Missouri whose future is beginning to look dim, the university system president at least had the guts to say Missouri has no need to proclaim its loyalty to the conference, reacting to a so-called ultimatum issued to Missouri and Nebraska.
