I got 5 of 8 again. My 'giant' upset pick was Arizona over Texas
No surprise: The ACC still is the best conference, no matter what the New York based sports media thinks.
Surprise: Virginia Commonwealth has done very well considering they had to play a "first round' game. Early Thursday I read a gripe from a reporter that the first round teams have a terrible hill to climb. He thought all the 'first round games ought to be on Tuesday. Then all the winners of those games would not play till Friday. It makes sense. But VCU's success may make avoiding playing every other day hard for future 'first round' teams.
The 2 elite-eight teams I'm missing are Pitt and Purdue. It's a far cry from last year when Kansas losing early shredded the brackets of so many of us.
My final four is UNC v Duke + Kansas v Florida. My championship game is Duke over KU.

Kansas State. Final is Ohio State over Kansas.I think playing every other day is great for teams that are hot, and lousy for teams that are struggling. VCU has gotten better each game, and dismantled Purdue.
President Obama's picks are currently winning both of the pools I'm in.
