As I was fearing, Monday night now has a big gap for me as Bones has moved to Friday. Its spot has been filled by Almost Human. I watched about six or seven minutes of the one last night before I couldn't watch any more. Robot Cop meets Blade Runner in the cheesiest possible way for my tastes. A quick check of the net says why I didn't like it. It's another show from gen-X's answer to Aaron Spelling, J J Abrams. In other words it's a guy who can produce hit show after hit show I have very little desire to watch. If you like his stuff go ahead and try Almost Human. You might well enjoy it for many seasons.

I'll avoid spoilers, but the big reveal on Sleepy Hollow was a stupefyingly silly, you've-got-to-be-kidding-me moment. If silly/crazy wasn't the name of the game on that show, you'd gag. As it is it was the most entertaining moment of the evening.

Bones has killed off their multi-season, unstoppable genius, never-makes-a-mistake, serial killer, but unfortunately Castle brought theirs back last night.

All in all a pretty thin night of entertainment.
