The current Republican place holder for John McCain does not want to serve long. He could resign any time, and the Republican Governor, who was easily reelected, could pick McSally
Yeah, and since that seat is up for re-election in 2020, would give them a chance to run as an incumbent. And McSally is now out of a job.
