My home page is the local newspaper's web front page. Last evening the headline on my home page read - Peoria Police to Learn English. Yes, this is my own town police force, not the one in Illinois. Don't you just hate it when your speeding ticket is written in Hungarian? This morning in the printed version the headline reads - Peoria police start using plain English. Seems our chief of police thinks talking in code on the radio is a waste of time except in really sensitive situations. He's probably right. The net headline may have been misleading, but I have to admit I did want to know what they were talking about.
