The grocery store has begun rearranging some of the shelves to stop pretending they are going to restock certain items any time soon. Only one thing I miss is a particular brand of ramen. I used to alternate having it with one they can still get. It won't hurt me to eat a little less ramen. Right now I'm pretty well stocked. I'm beginning to run low on paper towels, but there is no problem now getting more.
There was one person in the store without a mask. But they did look embarrassed and did dash in and out quickly with a few purchases.
The Bighorn fire up on the mountain is winding down. Still burning, but sort of burning back on itself, creating its own containment and not threatening new areas. Residents of the little town high on the mountain and business owners were allowed back in this morning. They'll probably open the road to everyone soon. Other than a road maintenance shed, no structures were lost. I should mention that one day this past week, the air in town was particularly bad from the fire. I woke up with sinus problems and a sore throat. The wind shifted to normal and my problems quickly cleared up that morning.
They say that the age with the highest numbers of new virus cases is 21. I would have guessed a little younger, but still college age.
