It's odd how the store manages to stock up on some things very well while others are hit and miss. I bought a large size salad dressing (Buttermilk Ranch) today though I don't need it because when I really wanted it about three weeks ago they didn't have any. There was no sign of the kind I'd bought then today (still have plenty). I saw a guy today still walking around in the store with mask his below his nose.

Minor irritation: I came up behind the pokiest grocery shopper today. If it wasn't for the virus I'd have just blasted on past. It was a woman walking beside her husband (so they had the aisle blocked much of the time). She acted as if she'd never been in a grocery store before, and certainly not that one. Every few steps she'd stop and carefully look at all the brands of an item, then reach for one, wipe it with a cloth she was carrying, pull it out, change her mind, put it back and keep looking. I first saw her in a group at the far end of the bread aisle looking for something. I stopped and got bread in the middle of the aisle and she was still deciding (with the help of her husband someone from the store) on a jar of peanut butter when I caught up to them. I followed them around to the next aisle with baking goods. She picked out two items to my one in the first half of that aisle making making me wait a couple minutes while she decided on a package of dry beans over some dry rice she'd pulled out and put back. She took a few steps and looked over all the flour, pulled a sack and put that back. I'd had enough and using an opening went past. Again in normal times who'd care? Hogging the aisles these days is a big nuisance.

...

I couldn't see any smoke this morning from the fires on the mountain, so I guess they are mostly out.
