I just checked on the professor was I concerned about and mentioned in my post a couple days ago. She is still alive but moved to Seattle at some point recently so the Texas disaster did not affect her. So the only people know that I'm pretty sure still live in Texas, don't live in the area of Texas where the power failed. Old school chums of mine they taught clog dancing for many years and are nothing like the folks in the ad!
