Nothing very different happened with this shot, except that I could feel getting it, I did bleed a little more, and I got a thumbnail sized red bruise around the injection site. The worst of the arm pain lasted about 12 hours, starting 10 to 12 hours after the shot, like last time. The arm doesn't hurt now except when I touch it, just like last time. I may have had a slightly worse headache yesterday, than I had with the first shot. But not a serious headache. The bruise mark is fading already. Otherwise I'm good.

Interesting - it bled? And you got a bruise? I haven't heard of that side-effect as of yet.
Was this the Moderna?

Better than my sis-in-law who got a staph infection with boils. So congrats!

I'm (supposedly) scheduled for shot #1 on the 19th. (Supposedly because hilarity ensued when I applied online and found that the geniuses who coded the website neglected to support the Firefox browser, only Chrome, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. So I got registered OK, somehow, but then couldn't get the appointment itself scheduled. After much fiddling, I finally worked around their issues and got an appointment.

I have the printout they e-mailed, so they better not give me any grief. Probably not, everyone I know who's used this big place the county set up in an abandoned department store right outside the city has spoken well of how smooth things went.

We shall see! I'm supposed to get the Pfizer, but my sister was also a few weeks ago when she got hers and they subbed the Moderna, told her an expected shipment of the Pfizer didn't show up when expected.

Oh, we all got bandages - so I think that's normal.

I know my Aunt got a rash with the Moderna - on her side, but it went away and was nothing serious.

Wow, I heard from family members that PA was not doing a great job with administering the vaccine. The scheduling software according to my brother is horrible - he would know since he has worked on doing that sort of thing for a living. He said you'd get in finally, but it gave you no time to schedule it or confirm - if you didn't click immediately, it would be taken and you'd have to start all over again. Apparently, it's bad across the board.

Good luck! Let me know. I've been tracking everyone in my head. The print-out is enough. They want to get everyone vaccinated. You also are obviously eligible.
