1. Have there been any periods in your life that could be described as being chaotic?
Externally no, internally yes
2. What was the last thing you bought used?
Yikes, I forgot. My house!
3. Has anyone ever told you that you're getting too competitive over minor things?
No, I don't think I project that kind of image to people who know me IRL.
4. What was the first thing you ever saved up to buy with your own money?
It was a book. I think I was still in grade school. I enjoyed having it, but I don't have it anymore.
5. After high school – straight to college or straight to work?
College just like my older siblings and my parents.
6. If I looked in your fridge right now, what would I find?
Like any day drinking water, milk, no eggs, no bacon, yogurt, salad fixings plus dressings, some cheese, a little salami, a variety of condiments. Meat up in freezer. Tonight, particularly, no left overs.
7. If you had to move to a new city, where would you move?
I would not know. I think I'd be a little lost if I had to move to another city now.
8. What did your parents do when you were growing up?
My father owned a small business, my mother off and on was his secretary.
9. When someone knocks on the door, who do you think it is?
Either my niece or some salesman (and salesmen aren't supposed to go door-to-door in this neighborhood).
10. Did your parents live in a different country before you were born?
No. My father was overseas during WWII, but I don't think he'd call that "living."
11. What's something you've experienced that very few others have?
I went to a foreign country where I could speak the language (the USSR) with a tour group of people from a part of the world (Denmark and Sweden) whose languages I could not begin to speak.
12. Do you have to wear an identification badge at your job?
Only for one job, that I quit after a short time.
13. Do you like when friends stop by unexpectedly?
It was fine when I lived in a apartment, but I'd just as soon have notice now!
14. How old were you when you moved to your current home?
Well past retirement.
15. If you apply your makeup, do you do it in a specific order?
No, but if I did use makeup I'd probably have some system.
16. Were you born with naturally straight teeth?
Since one of my uncles was an orthodontist, and I didn't need work, I guess that counts. The current passion for overly straight teeth is bothersome. Do people who use Invisalign and similar systems know they may end up looking like they have false teeth?
17. Do you like going to museums? Any particular type?
Yes. Historical or natural museums mostly.
18. What time do you usually go to bed at on weekends?
Same time as weekdays.
19. How often do you re-watch / re-read things or are you more ‘once only’?
As a kid I had no choice but to re-watch shows on TV and re-read the few books we owned. If I read or watch something only once now, it means I thought very little of it!
20. If you could marry any celebrity today who would it be?
I'm pretty much beyond caring about celebrities now. I did have a crush or two back when I was a teen. They are all old ladies now. ;o)
21. Do you own anything that's an antique?
Maybe, but nothing particularly valuable.
22. Do you let your hair air dry or do you blowdry it?
Arizona air dries men's hair fairly quickly without technical assistance.
23. How long does it take for you to fall asleep at night?
Not long, but I'm awake tonight because some *(^%$!@ kid threw a firecracker nearby after I was asleep.
24. What's the first thing you do when you get on the computer?
Check my email.
25. What's one item that you wish you owned right now?
Can't think of anything major.
26. Do you like makeup?
On women? In moderation. I was just thinking in the store a couple days ago as I looked around, how awful tattoos look on the average woman. Fads... what can you do?
27. What celebrity death(s) effected you the most?
I suppose the ones I remember from back when, who I find out were younger than me.
28. Musician you would like to see live if you had the chance?
I think a teenager made this quiz up. I don't idolize musicians so much that I have to go see them in person!

Absolutely. I'm mostly losing touch with the ATPo gang, but it was quite a group!

From the desert? Warm winters? Saguaros?

The questions seem to be twenty-something female, although they could be twenty-something queer male.
But I'm leaning towards heterosexual female in her twenties.

Also based on the last question - I'm beginning to think a teen or college student or recent graduate came up with these questions. No one over the age of 30 would ask if you ever cried in school. It's irrelevant by that stage - you are more concerned about whether you cried at work. School? Who remembers, really?
