28. When was the last time you wore flip-flops (Zories/thongs)?
I don't remember, on some vacation with my sister's family long ago, perhaps. Like others are saying they are fine for certain circumstances, but totally inappropriate for some terrain like rocks, tall grass, swampy areas, places with lots of flies or mosquitoes...
29. Do you like mustard? What type, and what do you put it on?
Yes, I like several kinds of mustard. Dijon mustard is very good tasting, but honestly for food I want to put mustard on I prefer something else. Good old turmeric mustard (for example French's) is best on burgers, hot dogs and ham, on Chinese food, hot mustard is really good.
30. It’s the International Day of the Potato! What is your favorite way to eat potatoes?
I like potatoes a lot of ways, baked, boiled, roasted, fried, mashed, and in potato salad (I prefer American style with mayo over German style with vinegar).
31. It’s Clint Eastwood’s birthday – have you seen any of his films? Do you have a favorite?
I've seen lots. Many are much the same, part noir, part super hero.
JUNE:
1. June is named after the Roman Goddess Juno. Do you know the names of any other Roman Gods or Goddesses?
Jupiter, Minerva, Neptune, etc.
2. Do you have a favorite alcoholic beverage?
I don't have it often, but tomato juice with a splash of Ouzo instead of vodka.
3. It’s World Bicycle Day! Have you ever ridden a tandem bicycle or a tricycle?
I've never actually seen a bicycle built for two or an adult tricycle. As I small child I pretty much rode my tricycle till the bearings wore out.
4. Have you ever made cheese (if you’d like to give it a try there’s a really easy recipe here)?
No. Yogurt yes, but not cheese.
5. When you visit somewhere new, do you research anything about the area?
Yes. I used to be the planner for our family trips, and these days I use Google street-view to find the nearby landmarks for any new place I go, to make finding it easier.
6. Do you have a membership to any local organizations (e.g. gym, museum, art gallery, local group, etc)? How often do you use your membership (and what’s the advantage of having it?)
Nope, not here. I was a member of the botanical garden in Phoenix. There I went to their December holiday evenings many times and bought cacti at a discount at their store and cactus sales.

True on Eastwood. With the possible exception of the films he directed in the later years, but even those seem to fit into those two categories. He was the king of noir Western.
