I seem to remember something more than a "nice gentle rain" at my end of town! ;-) And I don't know if it was rain-related, but there was a power outage at my office late last night and it messed up the A/C so it wasn't working most of the day today. But, I still love the rain. It actually feels like fall.
My sympathies, CW, on the St. Louis Cardinals loss - I've been thinking of you during the series. So, who are you rooting for now? I'm hoping for a White Sox win since they've gone even longer than the Red Sox since their last World Series.
Cardinal fans are patient. Just so long as they don't start acting like the Braves! ;o)
Actually it's one of those series I could go with either team. The Sox haven't won in ages and the Astros have guys like Biggio and Bagwell that have been good for so long you have to be happy to see they finally made it to the World Series.
It's surely best to be on the edges of our squalls this time of year, otherwise you can get heavy hail and other nasty stuff. Have you noticed that Sky Harbor always seems to get less rain than everyone else in town?
It too bad this is a couple days old and more folks from out of town won't see your reply... A/C this time of year? Is she crazy? This is going to be another of those years when the heat goes on in the same week the A/C gets shut off!
