Another barrel cactus bloomed today.
But, it's a little different than the spiny, spiny one earlier this week seen here. This one has big rounded ribs and fewer spines to hide the body. This is the first time this cactus has bloomed for me. I've had it about four years, and it's about the size of a volleyball now. This kind grows natively in far southern Mexico.
