We can see why Voldemort wasn't in Ravenclaw. You try to kill the baby and the spell rebounds and sends you into the margins of non-existence. Every time you get near the kid as he grows up something bad happens. You finally blast the kid and think he's dead for sure. So what do you do when he shows up again? If you are a Ravenclaw, you figure it out and turn and run away screaming. If you're a Gryffindor, you're brave and capture the brat and keep him in a cell far away from you forever. If you are a Hufflepuff plodder, you get befuddled and ask how the F that happened and ask someone else to kill the nuisance for your pitiful self. But if you're a Slytherin you have to be consistently bullheaded and idiotic. So you doggedly try one more time, yourself and commit suicide.

Snape thought Harry had pretty eyes.

Hermione was brainwashed. Harry could easily have done the cooking and cleaning some of the time. He had experience at the Dursley's. But she decided it was her duty.

When Hermione Granger Weasley takes over as head of Hogwarts, she might think about changing the houses. The house of Snape might replace Slytherin to indicate the kids are indeed all rotten, but there is hope for them. And she might want to change Hufflepuff to Weasley because by that time a good quarter of all wizard families in Britain will be Weasleys or Weasley cousins. As the head of the house, she could appoint Pansy Parkinson Malfoy, since she knows the words to "Weasley Is Our King." Cho could be the professor of potions, give all of Ginny Weasley Potter's offspring a hard time, look into their green Potter eyes and sigh about what might have been.

Ron would make a fine replacement for Filch or for Aberforth Dumbledore at the filthy bar. He has the grouchiness down.

The Dursleys will be invited to Harry's wedding, but will send their regrets that they must move to Canada that day instead.

Little Lily Potter's middle name will be Minerva. The next poor daughter's middle name will be Nymphadora.

Well, since Harry and Ginny have only named their kids for dead people so far, I suspect that Lily's middle name is Nymphadora...or Fred.
