Still enjoying Back to You. I saw the second half of Pushing Up Daisies. It's certainly strange in a good way. It would have made a really fun movie. We'll have to see how they can keep it up on TV.
I thought Bionic Woman was okay again. But it does have problems. The forced dark atmosphere isn't helping. The two bionic women are the only ones who ever smile,as if they are the only ones who get the joke or as if everyone else is constipated.
The way Jamie flounced off the scene last week, I honestly thought her boyfriend had survived. This week getting the chance to punch a guy seems to have been as big a part of her decision 'to play the game' as saving someone. Very sloppy direction and writing on both counts. Consequently, for me this week's show was emotionally off-base the whole time.
Just like "Studio 60" last year, BW isn't the everyone-will-love-it show that NBC tells us it is. It's okay, but not much more.
