1 point for me for predicting West Virginia would not be in the Orange Bowl.
The TV audience may have been taken into consideration for the Fiesta and Orange Bowls. Breaking up KU - OU and VT - WVa should help the national TV ratings for both games. Oklahoma is no doubt also pleased they don't have to win the Big 12 title twice after having to beat MU twice.
Is the Cotton Bowl a big surprise for Missouri? Well, when ABC was talking about a KU vs OU match last night as soon as MU was behind, I think it was fairly obvious to those of us at home that they'd heard solid rumors. I was just glad the Tigers weren't stuck in the Holiday Bowl. It's their first January Bowl game since I was in school!

As it were, I went back and saw the rules for order of picks - the Non-BCS team goes to the site where the title game is. And then Rose, Sugar, Orange, Fiesta.
So after the Rose took Illinois, Sugar took Georgia, and the Orange took Kansas - all over WVU - Fiesta was stuck and couldn't take the Sun Devils.
Well, my boys go to San Fran. Thus begins a scramble.
