Today both the Super Bowl and a major golf tournament are in town at the same time. They had 170,000 attending the golf tournament yesterday. I enjoy watching golf about as much as watching the paint peel. There have been ritzy parties all over town for the Super Bowl most of the week. It's been chilly this winter here, so some of the Rich and Frivolous are complaining about not being able to wear shorts all week. It's likely to rain today, which could be trouble for the golf tournament. The football stadium's roof will be closed so no problems there.

Traffic will be awful just south of my house at the football stadium and across town where the golf will be. A good day to stay home and read. ;o)

God, the people who complain that they can't lie out and get a tan in Arizona in the winter are starting to annoy me. Like the those of us who live here want it to be hot 365 days a year.

Well, this winter you could get the tan and a fine head-cold at the same time. But they could do that back at home! ;o)
