I think I'm home, but things are all wrong. The sky is blue, it's not cold or rainy, there is no ocean, I can't find the elevator and there doesn't seem to be a Thirteenth floor. Worst of all there is no Jane, Dub, Mr. or Mrs. Rufus, Dave, Masq, Mamcu, Anom, Ann, Lady S, Little Bit or Fresne here. Almost an intolerable situation!


Masq is the Joss Of Us, but I nominate Jane for the Slayer Among Us. Unless she was called I don't know how she managed to find such a perfect setting, host such a perfect patio party and after a very long weekend of late nights and minor frustrations manage to be as bubbly and positive about everything and everyone. The tiara may pass on, but she'll always be a jewel!

ETA I wanted to thank Ann for waiting for me beyond customs, today. It was so nice to have the meet last that extra little time with you!

Awwwww, that's so nice of you, CW. It was so much fun. I give the credit for the sun on the patio to Dub's fine work interceding with the weather gods for us.
Now we're down to 2...just anom and me.

Oh my, that was not a problem. I hardly waited at all and I agree with you completely about extra time. And about Jane as Slayer. Most definitely! Did LS leave that stake, because it should be Jane's if so.

It really was a fun gathering--a gathering focused on hanging out together. That was the best part of it.

I think people got to do the things they wanted to do, and see the things they wanted to see, but mostly we just...hung out together...big groups, little groups, everybody all at once. It was neat!

Well done, Jane. You can wear the tiara with pride!
