More pics from Vancouver
Most of the pictures I have of campus from the tower were taken on cloudy days. Here's one taken across campus toward the southwest. For those who didn't make the walk, the promised Tim Horton's was in the building beyond the clock tower.
Here is a shot to prove the clock tower is free standing. I think you can see a fountain near the base.
Not too far way you can see a flag pole. The hills in the background are on the other side of Burrard Inlet.
A fun thing to watch from our suite were the gulls buzzing around campus.
I also liked to watch the various kinds of ships and boats. Here are two cruise ships in Burrard Inlet.
More often we saw barges and container ships. This is the Strait of Georgia.
