Our company arrived by car early, during the afternoon yesterday. My nephew, his wife and young daughter. His sister (Willow's mother) and their mother (my brother's ex-wife) arrived on the other side of town about the same time by plane. They are all in town for a wedding from the other side of their family. We all got together and managed to get a reservation at a restaurant on a Friday night. (It's Spring Training Season and very busy at all the restaurants near the stadium.) There were enough of us that we went in two cars. I told my sister how I was going to drive up there, but she managed to get turned around when my nephew's car got to the correct intersection. They headed off the wrong way. No problem. That car has one of those talking GPS systems. So they entered the name of the restaurant and discovered they were twelve miles away. (Right restaurant, wrong location in the GPS data bank). So it took a couple of cell phone calls to get them back where they belonged.

The food was fine. My nephew's wife had fajitas. The fixin's were so bubbly hot when they arrived that, it was a little distressing having them set down on the table next to my place. I mean really hot! The little three-year-old Isabelle loved the tortillas as well as the chips and salsa.

We had a fine time catching up with each other and reminiscing.
