From the bottom of the barrel

With everyone giving good reviews about Honeycrisp apples I was interested to see them in my local produce store today. As I griped a little while ago, we don't always get the best produce here, so I only bought a few. I suspect the one I just ate was on the green side. It was sweet certainly, but mostly tasteless. Sigh. (LOL) It was better than a red delicious, but then what isn't?

I may go back to the store to get some Jonathans to bake a pie for my sister's birthday. A little on the green side never hurt those.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the show "Moonlight" yet. Broody vampire detective with a conscience. Hot blonde helper... I just caught the 2nd ep. more or less by accident. It's actually pretty good.
