New LJ Style

I noticed yesterday that the default reply page looked much better than it used to. I started looking around at the other new stuff this morning. I've been mostly using Chrome for my browser lately. The new design fits well enough with Chrome. I tried Explorer with it and didn't like it. If I go back to using Explorer regularly I feel like I'd have to fiddle with everything again like I did with the last new design. I'm really biased against changing things for the sake of change. I suppose it's business school grads trying to turn LJ into a growth company again, or at least trying to stop the slide.

The "view friends feed" button on my info page doesn't do anything, although tapping the feed button above does. Why didn't anyone try this before they installed it?

LJ stopped giving advance notice on birthdays on the last revision of the LJ home. Now it looks like birthdays are gone entirely. My apologies to those folks with birthdays I missed and unfortunately, I'm going to miss a lot more in the future.
