I've been to a funeral (no one close), got an auto emissions test (a simpler one than the one I'd have been required to have in Phoenix), and seen more wildlife than I'd see in Phoenix including one of these guys:
The one in my neighborhood is really loud (kind of like a distant peacock) and he's looking for a girlfriend.
The lizard I saw scurry up my backyard wall yesterday was about twice a heavy as the ones I'd have in Phoenix. I hope it eats all the bugs it wants. I don't need them trying to get in the house.
I think I saw a squirrel once in many years in Phoenix. I've already seen one scamper across the road here.
The other day I heard a woodpecker, but couldn't see it. I think it was working on the inside of a hollow high in a neighbor's saguaro for a nest. It doesn't really hurt the cactus, but it does leave an ugly scar at the entrance to the hole.
